Will I lose access immediately after canceling?

No. Canceling turns off auto-renewal only. You retain full access to all paid courses until the end of your current billing period. For example, canceling halfway through an annual subscription still gives you access for the remaining months.

Can I get a refund after canceling?

No. Educative's policy explicitly states 'We will not issue a refund.' This applies regardless of how much time remains in your subscription period. Refund requests are routinely denied by their support team.

How do I reactivate my subscription?

You can purchase a new subscription at any time at https://www.educative.io/unlimited. Your course history and progress are retained even after your subscription expires, so you pick up where you left off.

Can I cancel by email instead?

Yes. You can email support@educative.io to request cancellation of your auto-renewal. If you use this method, keep the email thread as proof since Educative does not reliably send cancellation confirmations.

How far in advance do I need to cancel before renewal?

Log in to Educative

Go to https://www.educative.io and sign in to your account using your email and password.

Open your profile menu

Click on your profile avatar or name in the top-right corner of the page to open the account dropdown menu.

Go to Account Settings

Select 'Settings' or 'Account Settings' from the dropdown menu to access your account management page.

Navigate to the Transactions page

Within your account settings, locate and click on the 'Transactions' tab or section. This is where Educative manages subscription billing and cancellation.

Find your active subscription

On the Transactions page, locate your active subscription entry showing your current plan (monthly, quarterly, annual, or biennial).

Cancel Auto Renewal

Click the 'Cancel Auto Renewal' button next to your active subscription. You must do this at least 24 hours before your next renewal date to avoid being charged.

Confirm cancellation

Confirm the cancellation when prompted. Note: Educative does not reliably send a cancellation confirmation email, so take a screenshot of any confirmation message as proof.
