Can I cancel my Sigma Computing subscription at any time?

No. Sigma's Terms of Service state that subscriptions are 'non-cancelable and non-refundable' for the duration of the current subscription period as defined in your Order Form. You can opt out of renewal before the term ends by contacting your Account Manager, but you remain responsible for fees through the end of your contracted term.

What happens to my data after I cancel?

Sigma will delete your user information, account data, files, and any Input Data within 30 days of termination. Your underlying data warehouse (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, etc.) is not affected — Sigma only deletes temporary data and account metadata it holds on its side. You can request earlier deletion in writing.

Will I get a refund if I cancel early?

Generally no. Fees are non-refundable for customer-initiated cancellations. A pro-rata refund of unused prepaid fees is only available if Sigma materially breaches the agreement and fails to cure within 30 days, or if Sigma cannot provide the service for 15+ consecutive days due to a force majeure event.

How do I reach Sigma to start the cancellation process?

The fastest channel is Live Chat inside your Sigma account (Help menu → 'Live chat'), available Monday–Friday, 2:00 am–6:00 pm PT. You can also submit a support request at help.sigmacomputing.com, email your dedicated Account Executive, or contact the team via sigmacomputing.com/company/contact-us.

Can I reactivate my account after canceling?

Yes. You can contact Sigma's sales team at any time to discuss reactivation or signing a new contract. Since your underlying data warehouse is unaffected by cancellation, reconnecting Sigma to your data source is straightforward. However, any Sigma-specific workbooks or configurations that were not exported before account deletion would need to be recreated.

Is there a free tier I can downgrade to instead of canceling?

Sigma Computing does not publicly offer a permanent free tier for ongoing use (only a free trial). If cost is the concern, discuss downgrading to a smaller plan or reducing licensed user seats with your Account Manager before resorting to full cancellation.

Review your Order Form

Locate your original Order Form or contract with Sigma Computing. Note your subscription end date and any notice period requirements, as subscriptions are explicitly 'non-cancelable' for the current term per Sigma's Terms of Service.

Log in and open Help menu

Log in to your Sigma account at app.sigmacomputing.com. Click the '?' Help icon in the bottom-left corner of the interface to open the Help menu.

Contact your Account Manager

Select 'Live chat' from the Help menu to reach a Support Engineer (available Monday–Friday, 2:00 am–6:00 pm PT), or email your dedicated Account Executive directly. State that you wish to cancel or opt out of renewal at the end of your current subscription term.

Submit a formal cancellation or non-renewal request

If no live chat is available, go to help.sigmacomputing.com and click 'Submit a request' to open a support ticket. Specify your organization name, the subscription you wish to cancel, and the effective cancellation date (end of current term).

Confirm non-renewal in writing

Ask the Account Manager or support team to confirm in writing (email) that your subscription will not auto-renew. Keep a copy of this confirmation for your records.

Request data export before termination

Before your subscription ends, export any dashboards, workbooks, or configurations you wish to keep. Sigma deletes all account-related user information, files, and Input Data within 30 days of termination. Note: your underlying data warehouse is unaffected.
