Do I still have access to my data after cancelling?

No. Access to all workspaces, notebooks, and data ends immediately upon cancellation. All customer content is permanently deleted within 30 days per Databricks Terms of Service. Export everything you need before cancelling.

Can I get a refund after cancelling?

Databricks has no stated refund policy and no self-serve refund mechanism. To dispute unexpected charges, contact Databricks billing support via help.databricks.com. For Azure Databricks, billing disputes go through Azure support.

Can I reactivate my plan after cancelling?

No. Cancellation is permanent and irreversible. You cannot reactivate a cancelled plan.

Can I sign up again with the same email after cancelling?

Not directly. After cancelling, the account record still exists and blocks reuse of your email. You must fully delete the account by contacting Databricks support at help.databricks.com, after which you can register again with the same email.

How do I cancel Databricks on Azure?

Azure Databricks has no self-serve cancellation within the Databricks console. You must cancel the underlying Azure subscription via the Azure Portal at portal.azure.com. Navigate to Subscriptions, select the relevant subscription, and choose Cancel subscription.

How do I cancel Databricks if I signed up through AWS Marketplace?

Do not cancel from within the AWS Marketplace — that only removes AWS as a payment method but does not cancel the Databricks account. Instead, log in directly to the Databricks account console at accounts.cloud.databricks.com and use Settings > Manage your plan > Cancel plan.

Log in to Databricks Account Console

Go to https://accounts.cloud.databricks.com and sign in with your Databricks account credentials. Note: This applies to AWS pay-as-you-go accounts. Azure users must cancel via the Azure Portal; GCP users via Google Cloud Marketplace.

Export data and terminate resources

Before cancelling, export any notebooks or data you want to keep from each workspace, terminate all running clusters and SQL warehouses, and delete all Unity Catalog metastores. Cancellation is immediate and irreversible.

Open Settings

In the left sidebar of the account console, click 'Settings'.

Click 'Manage your plan'

On the Settings page, locate and click the 'Manage your plan' dropdown menu.

Select 'Cancel plan'

From the dropdown, select 'Cancel plan'. A confirmation dialog will appear warning that the action is permanent and cannot be reversed.

Confirm cancellation

In the confirmation dialog, click the 'Cancel plan' button to finalize. Your access to all workspaces ends immediately.
