Can I cancel fabric Commerce mid-contract?

Fabric is sold via annual or multi-year enterprise contracts. Cancelling mid-term may incur early termination fees as outlined in your Order Form or MSA. Review your contract or contact your account manager for the specific terms applicable to your agreement.

Will I still have access to the platform after cancellation?

Access continues through your paid contract period (including the notice period). Once the termination date arrives, API credentials are revoked and you will no longer be able to access the fabric Copilot admin portal or APIs.

Can I get a refund after cancelling?

Fabric's enterprise contracts are generally non-refundable for prepaid periods. Refunds, if any, depend on the specific terms negotiated in your MSA. Contact your account manager to discuss any refund eligibility.

How do I export my data before cancellation?

Use the fabric Copilot admin portal or the fabric REST APIs to export catalog, order, customer, and configuration data before your termination date. Confirm your data export deadline with your Customer Success Manager, as access is revoked at contract end.

Can I reactivate my fabric account after cancelling?

Reactivation is possible by contacting fabric sales at fabric.inc/contact-us and entering a new service agreement. Your historical data may or may not be retained depending on fabric's data retention policy after account closure — confirm this with your account team before cancelling.

What happens to my storefront if I cancel fabric?

Since fabric is a headless/API-first platform, your customer-facing storefront is built and hosted separately. The storefront itself won't automatically go down, but all API calls to fabric services (catalog, cart, orders, pricing) will fail once your API access is revoked. You will need to migrate to alternative services before the termination date to avoid storefront disruption.

Contact your Customer Success Manager

Reach out to your dedicated fabric Customer Success or Account Manager via email or phone to initiate the cancellation process. If you don't have a direct contact, call 844-7-FABRIC (844-732-2742) or email support@fabric.inc.

Submit written cancellation notice

Send a formal cancellation notice by email to your account representative and CC support@fabric.inc. Include your company name, account ID, the service(s) being cancelled, and requested termination date. Written notice is required per fabric's standard contract terms.

Confirm receipt and termination date

Wait for fabric to acknowledge your cancellation request in writing. Confirm the official end date, final billing period, and any transition or data-export obligations you must fulfill before the account closes.

Export your data

Before the termination date, export all your catalog, order, customer, and configuration data via the fabric APIs or admin portal (Copilot). fabric typically provides a data-export window — confirm the exact deadline with your account team.

Verify account closure

After the termination date, confirm that API access has been revoked, recurring billing has stopped, and you have received a final invoice or zero-balance confirmation from fabric.
