Log into Mux Dashboard
Go to https://dashboard.mux.com and sign in with your account credentials.
Open Settings
In the left navigation sidebar, click 'Settings'.
Navigate to Billing
Under Settings, click 'Billing' to open the Billing and Payments section.
Export or delete your assets
Before canceling, download any video assets you want to keep — all customer data may be permanently deleted upon termination. You can use Mux's API or the open-source 'mux-delete-all-assets' script to bulk-remove stored videos and stop storage charges.
Cancel your plan or contact support
If a self-serve cancel or downgrade button is visible in the Billing section, click it to cancel your plan. If no button is available (common for contract or enterprise accounts), submit a support ticket at mux.com/support or email help@mux.com requesting cancellation.
Confirm cancellation notice timing
If you are on a contract or enterprise plan, note that Mux requires written notice at least 60 days before your renewal date. Missing this window results in automatic renewal for another full billing period. Request written confirmation of your cancellation from support.
