Do I keep access to Coursera Plus after I cancel?

Yes. After cancelling, your Coursera Plus access continues until the end of your current billing period. You will not be charged for the next cycle.

Can I get a refund when I cancel?

Coursera offers a 14-day money-back guarantee on Coursera Plus. If you cancel within 14 days of your most recent payment, submit a refund request via the Learner Help Center. After 14 days, no refund is issued for the current period — only future renewals are stopped. Allow 7–10 business days for a refund to appear.

Will I keep my earned certificates after cancelling?

Yes. Certificates you have already earned are permanently yours. They remain on your Coursera profile and can be shared to LinkedIn regardless of your subscription status.

Can I reactivate Coursera Plus after cancelling?

Yes. Log back in to your Coursera account at any time, go to My Purchases, and re-subscribe to Coursera Plus. You may need to re-enter payment details.

What happens to my course progress if I cancel?

Your course progress and learning history are saved on your account. If you re-subscribe later you can pick up where you left off. Without an active Plus subscription you lose access to Plus-exclusive content but retain access to any individually purchased courses.

Can I pause instead of cancelling?

Coursera may offer a pause option during the cancellation flow, allowing you to temporarily suspend billing. If you want a full cancellation rather than a pause, decline this offer and continue to the final confirmation step.

Log in to Coursera

Go to coursera.org and sign in to your account using your email/password or SSO.

Open your profile menu

Click your profile avatar or initials in the top-right corner of the page to open the dropdown menu.

Go to 'My Purchases'

Select 'My Purchases' from the dropdown menu. This opens your purchases and subscription management page.

Open the 'Subscriptions' tab

On the My Purchases page, click the 'Subscriptions' tab to view your active Coursera Plus subscription.

Click 'Cancel subscription'

Find your Coursera Plus subscription entry and click the 'Cancel subscription' link beneath it.

Decline retention offer if shown

Coursera may present a retention screen offering a discounted rate or the option to pause your subscription. Click 'Continue to cancel' or equivalent to proceed without accepting the offer.

Confirm cancellation

Follow the remaining on-screen prompts and click the final 'Confirm cancellation' (or 'Cancel subscription') button. You will receive a confirmation email. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
