Deactivate all subscription groups
Open your Shopify admin and go to Apps > Bold Subscriptions. Navigate to 'Subscription groups'. Under the 'Status' column, move each toggle to the left (off) to deactivate all groups. Wait for confirmation that all groups are inactive before proceeding.
Open App settings in Shopify
In your Shopify admin, go to Settings (bottom-left), then click 'App and sales channel settings'. This lists all installed apps and their billing status.
Locate Bold Subscriptions and click Uninstall
Find 'Bold Subscriptions' (or the specific Bold app you are canceling) in the list. Click the ellipsis ('...') icon next to the app name, then select 'Uninstall' from the dropdown menu.
Confirm the uninstall
A confirmation dialog will appear explaining that uninstalling will cancel all active customer subscriptions and stop monthly billing. Click 'Uninstall' to confirm. Monthly billing stops immediately upon removal.
Request a refund if needed
If you want a refund on your most recent monthly charge, contact Bold's Merchant Success team via the support form at support.boldcommerce.com/hc/en-us/requests/new or via live chat (9am–5pm CST, Mon–Fri). Bold will contact Shopify on your behalf to process it.
