Is Khan Academy really free?

Yes. Khan Academy's entire core library — thousands of lessons in math, science, history, and more — is completely free and always will be. You may be cancelling a voluntary recurring donation or a Khanmigo AI tutor subscription.

Khanmigo is Khan Academy's AI-powered tutoring assistant. It is available as an add-on subscription and is separate from the free core content. Cancelling Khanmigo does not affect access to standard Khan Academy lessons.

Will my progress be deleted if I cancel?

No. Your Khan Academy account, badges, mastery progress, and course history are permanently saved on your free account regardless of whether you have a paid subscription or donation.

Sign in to Khan Academy

Go to khanacademy.org and sign in to your account.

Go to your Donor or Khanmigo settings

Click your profile name in the top-right corner and select "Settings". If you have a Khanmigo subscription, navigate to the Khanmigo section.

Manage your donation or subscription

For recurring donations, click "Manage donation" to adjust or cancel. For Khanmigo, click "Manage subscription" to view billing details.

Cancel recurring payment

Click "Cancel" next to your recurring donation or subscription. Confirm when prompted. Khan Academy is free for all core content.
