Will I lose access immediately after cancelling?

No. After cancelling, a message confirms 'Service will still be active until [date]' — access continues through the end of the current paid billing period.

Can I get a refund if I cancel mid-year?

No prorated refunds are offered. The subscription remains active until the end of the 12-month billing period, but no unused portion is refunded.

Do I need to cancel separately for each Smart Lock?

Yes. Each Smart Lock has its own independent $69/year Smart Hosting subscription. You must cancel each device's service separately in 'Your services'.

Can I reactivate Smart Hosting after cancelling?

Yes. You can re-subscribe to the Smart Hosting service at any time from the 'Your services' section of your Nuki account.

What happens to my basic Smart Lock features if I cancel?

Core features — remote access, smart home integrations, up to 200 access permissions, and activity log — are free and unaffected by cancelling Smart Hosting. Only automated short-term rental platform integrations (Airbnb, Guesty, Lodgify, etc.) require a Smart Hosting subscription.

How do I delete my Nuki account entirely?

First remove all devices from your account, then go to 'Manage account' and click 'Delete account'. This permanently deletes all associated data and cannot be undone.

Log in to your Nuki account

Go to nuki.io and log in with your email and password.

Open My Account

Click the user icon in the top-right corner of the header, then select 'My account' from the dropdown menu.

Navigate to Your Services

In the account dashboard, click on 'Your services' (also shown as 'My Services' or 'My Smart Hosting' in some views) to see all active subscriptions.

Find the device to cancel

Locate the Smart Lock device whose Smart Hosting service you want to cancel. Note: each device has its own separate subscription.

Open the options menu

Click the three-dot menu icon ('...') on the right side of the device/service row to reveal available actions.

Select 'Cancel Service'

From the dropdown, click 'Cancel Service'.

Confirm cancellation

A confirmation dialog appears: 'Do you really want to cancel your service?' Click the 'Yes, cancel' button to confirm. The service will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
