Can I still use Hiver after canceling?

Yes. Access continues until the end of your current paid billing period. After that date, your workspace will lose access to paid features.

Will I get a refund after canceling?

No. Hiver's Terms of Service state that all subscription charges are non-refundable, including partial-period charges. No prorated refunds are issued.

What happens to my data after cancellation?

Hiver retains your data for 14 days after account termination. Some content may remain in backup systems for up to two months. Export any data you need before canceling.

Can I reactivate my Hiver subscription later?

Yes. You can resubscribe at any time by returning to the Admin Panel and selecting a plan. However, if your 14-day data retention window has expired, previously deleted data may not be recoverable.

Who can cancel the Hiver subscription?

Only the workspace Owner (Admin) can cancel the subscription. Regular team members and collaborators do not have access to billing settings.

Can I cancel Hiver by email instead of through the Admin Panel?

Yes. If you cannot access the Admin Panel or cannot find the cancel option, you can email support@hiverhq.com with a clear cancellation request. A support agent will process it, though they may attempt to retain you first.

Open Gmail with Hiver

Log in to Gmail using the Google account associated with your Hiver workspace. Hiver runs as an extension inside Gmail, so all admin actions happen from within Gmail.

Open the Admin Panel

Click the yellow Hiver icon in the top-right corner of Gmail (or click the Gmail settings gear and look for the Hiver entry), then select 'Admin Panel' from the dropdown menu.

Go to Billing

In the Admin Panel left sidebar, click 'Billing'. This section shows your current plan, billing cycle, and subscription details.

Scroll to Cancel Subscription

Scroll to the bottom of the plan details page. Look for a link or button labeled 'Cancel Subscription'. Note: only workspace Admins (Owner role) can see and use this option.

Complete the cancellation survey

Hiver may present a cancellation survey asking for your reason for leaving. Fill it in and proceed — you may also be offered a retention deal (discount or plan downgrade) at this point.

Confirm cancellation

Click 'Confirm Cancellation' (or equivalent confirmation button) to finalize. You should receive a cancellation confirmation email at the account owner's address. Check your spam folder if it doesn't arrive within a few minutes.
