No. Cancelling only disables auto-renewal. You and your team retain full access to all paid features until the end of your current billing period.

Can I get a refund after cancelling?

GitKraken's official policy states no refunds except where required by law. However, many users report successfully receiving full refunds for unwanted auto-renewals by emailing accounting@gitkraken.com promptly after the charge.

Can I reactivate my subscription after cancelling?

Yes. You can reactivate a cancelled GitKraken subscription at any time by returning to the Subscription page in your organization settings and choosing a plan.

Does deleting my account cancel the subscription?

No. Deleting your personal user account does not cancel an organization subscription. You must explicitly cancel the subscription in the organization's billing settings before or separately from deleting your account.

Who is allowed to cancel the subscription?

Only the organization Owner, Admins, and designated Billing Contacts have permission to cancel a GitKraken subscription.

Where can I view past invoices before cancelling?

Go to gitkraken.dev/subscription/history or navigate to Subscription > View Billing History in your organization settings. You can download PDF copies of past invoices from there.

Log in to GitKraken account portal

Open a web browser and go to app.gitkraken.com. Sign in with your GitKraken account credentials. Note: you must be the Owner, Admin, or Billing Contact of the organization to cancel.

Open your Organization settings

In the left-hand panel, click on your Organization's name to expand its settings menu.

Go to the Subscription tab

In the organization menu, click 'Subscription' to open the subscription management page.

Click 'Cancel Subscription'

Scroll to the bottom of the subscription management area and click the 'Cancel Subscription' link in the lower left corner.

Confirm cancellation

Confirm your intent to cancel when prompted. The subscription will be marked for non-renewal — your team retains full access until the end of the current paid billing period.
