Do I lose access immediately after cancelling?

No. Your account remains fully active through the end of the current billing period. Access is not cut off immediately upon cancellation.

Are there any refunds for unused time?

No. All fees are non-refundable per LaunchDarkly's subscription terms. Customer-initiated cancellations do not receive pro-rata refunds for unused prepaid time.

What happens to my data after cancellation?

LaunchDarkly retains your account data for up to 30 days after the subscription ends. After that window, data may be permanently deleted. Export any important data before your billing cycle ends.

Can I reactivate my subscription after cancelling?

Yes, you can resubscribe via the Billing page. After cancellation, your account effectively reverts to the Developer (free) tier. To resume a paid plan, go back to Billing and select a plan, or contact sales for Enterprise tiers.

What if I want to downgrade instead of fully cancel?

Use the 'View plan options' button on the Billing page to switch to a lower-tier paid plan or the free Developer plan, rather than cancelling entirely. This preserves your account and data.

Can I cancel if I'm on an invoice-billed plan?

Invoice-billed accounts (typically Enterprise or annual contracts) cannot self-cancel through the UI. You must submit a support ticket at support.launchdarkly.com/hc/en-us/requests/new to request cancellation.

Log in to LaunchDarkly

Go to app.launchdarkly.com and log in to your account. You must have Owner or Admin role to access billing settings.

Open Organization settings

Click the gear icon in the left navigation sidebar to open 'Organization settings'.

Navigate to Billing

In the settings menu, click 'Billing' to open the billing page.

Scroll to End subscription

Scroll to the bottom of the Billing page to find the 'End subscription' section.

Click 'Cancel my subscription'

Click the 'Cancel my subscription' button in the End subscription section.

Confirm cancellation

A confirmation dialog appears. Click 'Cancel my subscription' again to confirm and complete the cancellation.
