Can I still access my passwords after cancelling?

Yes. Cancelling a paid Zoho Vault plan downgrades your account to the Free Forever plan. All stored passwords, notes, and documents remain fully accessible. You lose paid features such as team sharing, shared folders, cloud backup, emergency access, breach alerts, and AD/SSO integration, but individual password management continues without interruption.

Will I get a refund when I cancel?

Monthly subscribers are not refunded for the current billing month — you keep access until the cycle ends. Annual subscribers do not receive an automatic prorated refund; you must contact Zoho support at support@zohovault.com to request one. To avoid being charged for the next annual term, cancel at least 7 days before your renewal date.

Can I reactivate my paid plan after cancelling?

Yes, at any time. Go to Admin > Subscription inside Zoho Vault and upgrade back to a paid plan. There is no waiting period or reactivation penalty. Your data is preserved on the Free plan in the meantime.

Will my data be deleted when I cancel?

Not immediately. Downgrading to the Free plan keeps all your data intact as long as the account remains active. Zoho may permanently delete data from accounts that are inactive for 120 consecutive days (with prior notice). If you want to fully delete everything, export your passwords first via Tools > Export Secrets, delete your organization within Vault, then close your Zoho account at https://accounts.zoho.com under Preferences.

Does cancelling Zoho Vault cancel my entire Zoho account?

No. Cancelling or downgrading Zoho Vault only affects the Vault subscription. All other Zoho products and services you use (Mail, CRM, etc.) remain active and unaffected.

What happens if the cancellation dialog does not appear?

Ad-blockers or browser extensions can prevent the cancellation pop-up from loading. Try using Incognito/private browsing mode or a different browser, then repeat the Admin > Subscription > Modify > Cancel Subscription flow. Alternatively, use the generic Zoho cancellation form at https://www.zoho.com/store/customer/cancel-subscription.html or email support@zohovault.com.

Log in to Zoho Vault

Go to https://vault.zoho.com and sign in with your Zoho account credentials.

Open Subscription settings

Click on 'Admin' in the top navigation bar, then select 'Subscription' from the dropdown menu.

Click Modify

On the Subscription page, click the 'Modify' button under your current paid plan to open the Manage Zoho Vault Subscription page.

Select Cancel Subscription

Scroll to the bottom of the plan management page and click the 'Cancel Subscription' button.

Choose a cancellation reason

Select a reason for cancelling from the dropdown menu presented in the cancellation dialog.

Click Move to Free Edition

Click the 'Move to Free Edition' button to confirm the downgrade. Optionally check the box to delay the downgrade until the end of your current billing cycle instead of immediately.

Confirm and check email

Submit the confirmation. You will receive a confirmation email once the cancellation is processed. Your account remains active on the Free Forever plan — all stored passwords are retained.
