Log in to your Thinkific admin dashboard
Go to app.thinkific.com and sign in to your account. Before canceling, consider exporting student data (Users → Export to CSV) and downloading course files, as you will lose access to certain features at the end of your billing cycle.
Open Account settings
In the left-hand navigation menu, click on 'Account' to expand account-related options.
Go to Account Management
Click 'Account Management' from the dropdown or submenu that appears under Account.
Click Manage Subscription
On the Account Management page, find and click the 'Manage Subscription' button to view your current plan details. Alternatively, navigate via Settings → Billing → Change Plan.
Click Cancel Plan
Click the 'Cancel Plan' button (or select the Free plan option to downgrade instead of fully canceling). A screen will appear showing the features you will lose — this is a retention step, not a confirmation.
Select a cancellation reason
Choose a reason for canceling from the dropdown or list provided. Thinkific may display a retention offer such as a free 1-month extension at this stage — you can decline it to proceed.
Confirm cancellation
Click the final confirmation button to complete the cancellation. You will retain access to your paid plan features until the end of your current billing period, after which your account reverts to Free tier.
