Will I still have access after I cancel?

Yes. You retain full access to all subscription features until the end of your current billing period. Cancellation takes effect at the start of the next billing cycle.

Can I get a refund for the unused portion of my subscription?

No. Yale's terms state that all fees are non-refundable unless required by law. However, if you cancel within 14 days of first subscribing (UK cooling-off period) and Yale has not yet started providing the service, you may be entitled to a full refund.

What happens to my cloud recordings when I cancel?

All cloud recordings and data are permanently deleted at the end of your current billing cycle. Download any footage you want to keep before your subscription expires.

Can I reactivate my subscription later?

Yes. You can resubscribe at any time through the Yale Home app by going to Menu → Subscriptions and selecting a plan.

Is there a way to cancel online or by phone instead of through the app?

The official cancellation process is app-only. There is no web portal for cancellation. If you cannot access the app, you can contact Yale support at yale.support@assaabloy.com for assistance.

Can I cancel during the free trial to avoid being charged?

Yes. You can cancel at any time during the 1-month free trial and will not be charged. The trial automatically converts to a paid subscription after one month if you do not cancel.

Open the Yale Home app

Launch the Yale Home app on your iOS or Android device. Make sure you are signed in to the account that holds the active subscription.

Open the Menu

Tap the Menu icon (navigation menu) in the app's main navigation bar.

Select 'Subscriptions'

From the menu, tap 'Subscriptions' to view your active plan (Camera Plan, Alarm Plan, Secure Plan, or Secure Pro Plan).

Select your active subscription

Tap on the subscription you wish to cancel to open its details screen.

Cancel the subscription

Tap the cancellation option on the subscription details screen. Confirm the cancellation when prompted. You will retain access until the end of your current billing period.

Download any cloud recordings

Before your billing period ends, download any camera recordings you want to keep. Yale permanently deletes all cloud recordings and data at the end of the cancelled subscription period.
