Will I still have access after downgrading?

Yes. Downgrading to the Free Forever plan keeps your account active with 500 sessions/month, 1 project, and 1 month of data storage. Paid features remain accessible until the end of your current billing cycle. If you choose to permanently delete your account instead, all access ends immediately.

Can I get a refund after cancelling?

Mouseflow offers a 14-day money-back guarantee only for new annual Standard plan subscriptions (Essential, Advanced, Premium) or when switching from monthly to annual billing — and only once per account. Monthly plans, Enterprise plans, renewals, and upgrades are excluded. All other fees are non-refundable. Contact support@mouseflow.com to request a refund within the 14-day window.

What happens to my session recordings and data?

If you downgrade to Free, data is retained under the free plan's 1-month storage limit — older recordings beyond that are deleted. If you permanently delete your account (via Account Settings > 'Delete Account'), all recordings, heatmaps, funnels, and analytics data are immediately and permanently erased with no recovery possible. Download any data you need before deleting.

Can I reactivate my subscription later?

Yes, if you downgraded to Free Forever. Just return to the Billing page and select a paid plan at any time — your account and remaining data will still be there. If you permanently deleted your account, reactivation is not possible, but you can create a new account from scratch.

How do I cancel an Enterprise or Agency plan?

Enterprise and Agency plans require written notice sent to sales.ep@mouseflow.com at least 30 days before your renewal date. Notice received with fewer than 30 days remaining will not prevent automatic renewal for another full term. After cancellation is confirmed, you can downgrade to Free or delete the account.

Will Mouseflow stop tracking my website visitors after I cancel?

Not automatically. The Mouseflow JavaScript tracking snippet remains on your website even after you cancel or delete your account. You must manually remove the script from your website's code to stop data collection entirely.

Log in as Account Owner

Sign in to your Mouseflow account at app.mouseflow.com. Only the Account Owner role can cancel — admins and members do not have this permission.

Go to Billing page

Navigate to Account > Billing, or go directly to app.mouseflow.com/account/billing?upgrade.

Click 'Change' next to Current Plan

On the Billing page, find the 'Current Plan' field and click the 'Change' button next to it to open the plan selector.

Select 'Free Forever Plan'

In the plan selector pop-up, scroll to the bottom and select the 'Free Forever Plan' to stop all billing. This is Mouseflow's primary off-ramp for cancellation.

Confirm feature loss

A confirmation screen titled 'I want to downgrade and lose these features' will appear listing all features you will lose. Review and confirm the downgrade.

Downgrade takes effect

Your downgrade is scheduled for the next billing cycle — paid features remain active until then. If a 'Downgrade Now' banner appears at the top of the Billing page, you can click it to downgrade immediately instead.

Remove tracking script from your website

Mouseflow does NOT automatically remove the tracking script from your site. Manually delete the Mouseflow JavaScript snippet from your website's code to stop data collection.
