Will I lose my contacts and automations when I cancel?

No. All contacts, flows, and automation content are preserved when you cancel. Your account downgrades to the Free plan, which supports up to 25 Active Contacts and 4 live automations. Pro-only features stop working and ManyChat branding is re-added to your automations.

Can I get a refund after cancelling?

ManyChat offers refunds if you cancel within the first 30 days of purchase or if a technical issue prevented you from using the service. Refunds are not guaranteed — ManyChat reserves the right to deny them. To request one, go to help.manychat.com and submit a Billing & Subscriptions → Refund Request form. If approved, it takes about 10 business days to reach your original payment method.

Will I be charged again after cancelling?

Your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period and is not renewed. However, if an invoice was already generated before you cancelled, that charge may still process. Contact ManyChat support immediately if you see a charge after cancellation.

How do I reactivate my ManyChat Pro subscription?

After cancellation, a green 'Return to Pro' button appears in your Settings → Billing page. Click it and complete the checkout to resubscribe at any time.

I don't see the Billing tab in Settings — how do I cancel?

The Billing tab is only visible to the account Owner and Admins with billing permissions. If you're a sub-user, ask the account Owner or an Admin to either grant you billing access or cancel the subscription on your behalf.

Does downgrading to the Free plan count as cancelling?

No. Selecting a lower plan or the free tier is not the same as cancelling. To stop being billed, you must explicitly click 'Cancel Subscription' in Settings → Billing and complete the cancellation flow.

Log in on desktop

Go to manychat.com and log in to your account. Cancellation is only available via the web browser — the mobile app does not support subscription cancellation.

Open Settings

Click 'Settings' in the left sidebar navigation panel.

Go to Billing tab

Inside Settings, click the 'Billing' tab. If you don't see this tab, you don't have billing permissions — only the account Owner or an Admin can cancel the subscription.

Click Cancel Subscription

Click the 'Cancel Subscription' button on the Billing page.

Select a cancellation reason

Choose a reason from the dropdown list and optionally add a short description in the text field provided. Both fields are required before you can proceed.

Confirm cancellation

Click 'Next', then on the confirmation screen click 'Cancel My Subscription' to finalize. The status will change to 'Pending cancellation' immediately.
