Log in to MeinKabel portal
Go to kabel.vodafone.de and click 'Anmelden' (Log in) in the top right corner. Enter your email address and password for your MeinKabel account. If you have forgotten your login credentials, use the 'Passwort vergessen?' (Forgot password?) link.
Navigate to the cancellation page
Once logged in, go directly to the cancellation section at kabel.vodafone.de/hilfe_und_service/kuendigung, or click on 'Hilfe & Service' in the main navigation and then select 'Kündigung'.
Select the service to cancel
Choose the product you want to cancel from your active contracts — options include 'TV, Internet & Telefon' (all-in-one cable bundle) or individual components. The direct sub-page for TV/Internet/Phone is kabel.vodafone.de/hilfe_und_service/kuendigung/tv_internet_und_telefon.
Fill out and submit the cancellation form
Complete the online cancellation form with your full name, customer number (Kundennummer), contract number (Vertragsnummer), and desired cancellation date. You can request termination at the earliest possible date ('zum nächstmöglichen Termin') or at a specific end-of-contract date. Click 'Kündigung absenden' (Submit cancellation) to submit.
Decline retention offers
After submitting, Vodafone typically presents a retention screen offering a discounted tariff or additional features to keep you. Click 'Nein, danke' or 'Trotzdem kündigen' (Cancel anyway) to proceed with the cancellation without accepting any counter-offer. Vodafone may also trigger a callback attempt — you are not obligated to accept any offer.
Save the cancellation confirmation
After successfully submitting, you will receive a written cancellation confirmation (Kündigungsbestätigung) by email with your exact contract end date. Save or print this document as proof of cancellation. If you do not receive confirmation within 1–2 business days, follow up in writing.
Return leased equipment
After the contract ends, return all leased equipment (router/cable modem, TV box, smartcard) within 14 days using the prepaid DHL return label included with your cancellation confirmation. Failure to return equipment within 4 weeks will result in a device charge, though refunds are possible if returned within the 4-week window.
