Can I get a refund after cancelling?

No. Knock's Terms of Service state that all payments are final and non-refundable. You have 60 days from a charge date to dispute a charge with Knock if you believe it was made in error.

Is there a free plan I can downgrade to instead of cancelling?

Yes. The Developer plan is free ($0/month) and includes 10,000 messages and 500 guide active users per month. You can downgrade to it yourself in the dashboard without emailing support, and the change takes effect at the end of your billing period.

What happens to my data when I cancel?

According to Knock's Terms of Service, they may immediately deactivate or delete your account and all associated data and files upon termination. No public grace period or data export window is documented, so export any important data before requesting cancellation.

Can I reactivate my account after cancellation?

Knock does not publicly document a reactivation policy. Contact support@knock.app if you want to restart service after a full cancellation.

Who on my team can cancel the subscription?

Only team members with the Owner or Billing role in the Knock dashboard have access to billing settings and the ability to initiate a cancellation or downgrade.

Will I be charged for the rest of the month after cancelling?

Charges already billed are non-refundable. Once you cancel, billing stops going forward, but you will not receive a prorated refund for any unused portion of your current billing period.

Log in to Knock dashboard

Go to dashboard.knock.app and sign in. You must have the Owner or Billing role on the account to manage subscription settings.

Navigate to Settings > Billing

In the Knock dashboard, open Settings and select the Billing section to review your current plan (Developer, Starter, or Enterprise) and billing details.

Consider downgrading to the free Developer plan

If you only want to stop paying, you can downgrade to the Developer plan ($0/month, 10K messages included) directly in the dashboard without contacting support. The downgrade is scheduled to take effect at the end of your current billing period.

Email support to cancel fully

To fully cancel and close your account, send an email to support@knock.app requesting cancellation. Knock's Terms of Service state this is the official cancellation method: 'You may cancel your subscription online by emailing us at: support@knock.app.'

Await cancellation confirmation

Wait for a confirmation reply from the Knock support team. Billing will stop upon confirmation; the current period's charges are non-refundable.
