Does deleting the happn app cancel my subscription?

No. Uninstalling the app does not cancel your subscription. Charges will continue until you explicitly cancel through the App Store, Google Play, or PayPal — whichever platform you used to subscribe.

Does deleting my account cancel my subscription?

No. You must cancel your subscription through the App Store or Google Play first, then separately delete your account in the app. Deleting your account while an active subscription is running can still result in continued charges.

Can I get a refund after canceling?

Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of purchase. On iOS, use reportaproblem.apple.com to request a refund from Apple directly. On Android, refund requests within 48 hours can be made via Google Play; after that, email support@happn.fr with your Google Play order ID (format: GPA.xxxx). Refunds may be partial based on usage.

How do I delete my account and personal data?

In the happn app: tap 'My Account' ('Hesabım') → 'App Settings' ('Uygulama Ayarları') → scroll to 'My Data' ('Verilerim') → tap 'Delete My Account' ('Hesabımı sil') → confirm. There is a 30-day grace period during which you can log back in to recover the account. After 30 days, deletion is permanent. For full KVKK/GDPR data erasure, you can also contact support@happn.fr.

Can I reactivate my subscription after canceling?

Yes. You can re-subscribe at any time via the App Store or Google Play at the then-current price. Your account data (matches, messages) remains intact as long as you did not delete the account.

Determine how you subscribed

Identify whether you purchased happn Premium through the Apple App Store (iOS), Google Play Store (Android), or PayPal. The cancellation must be done through the same platform — happn does not manage cancellations inside the app itself.

Cancel via iPhone: Open Settings

On iOS: Open the iPhone Settings app → tap your name at the top (Apple ID) → tap 'Subscriptions' ('Abonelikler' in Turkish). Alternatively, open the App Store → tap your profile icon (top right) → tap 'Subscriptions'.

Cancel via iPhone: Find happn and cancel

In your subscriptions list, find and tap 'happn: Dating, Chat & Meet'. Then tap 'Cancel Subscription' ('Aboneliği İptal Et'). Confirm when prompted. You must do this at least 24 hours before your renewal date.

Cancel via Android: Open Google Play

On Android: Open the Google Play Store → tap your profile icon (top right) → tap 'Payments and subscriptions' ('Ödemeler ve abonelikler') → tap 'Subscriptions' ('Abonelikler').

Cancel via Android: Find happn and cancel

Find 'happn: Dating, Chat & Meet' in your subscriptions list and tap it. Tap 'Cancel subscription' ('Aboneliği iptal et'). Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm. Google Play may offer a 'Pause' option — select 'Cancel' instead to fully stop billing.

Cancel via PayPal (if applicable)

If you subscribed via PayPal: log into PayPal.com → click the Settings icon (gear, top right) → go to 'Payments' → 'Manage Automatic Payments' → find 'HAPPN SAS' in the merchant list → click 'Cancel'.

Confirm cancellation

You should receive a confirmation email from Apple, Google, or PayPal. Your Premium benefits remain active until the end of the current billing period. After that, your account reverts to the free tier — it is not deleted.
