Log in to your JazzHR account
Go to app.jazz.co and log in with your admin credentials. You must be the account owner or have billing permissions to submit a cancellation request.
Navigate to the Cancellation Request form
Go directly to https://help.jazzhr.com/s/cancellationrequest — this is JazzHR's dedicated cancellation request page in the Help Center. There is no cancel button inside the account dashboard itself.
Fill out the cancellation request form
Complete the form with your account details including company name, email address, and reason for cancellation. Submit the form to initiate the process.
Watch for a reply email from JazzHR
A JazzHR customer success representative will email you. They may ask follow-up questions about why you are leaving or offer alternatives. Response times can be slow — some users report 2–3 hour wait times for support.
Decline the Hibernation plan upsell
JazzHR will typically offer a 'Hibernation' plan at approximately $19/month to preserve your data instead of fully canceling. Decline this if you want a complete cancellation. You must explicitly confirm you want to proceed with full cancellation.
Confirm data deletion and cancellation terms
You will be asked to acknowledge that your data will be deleted upon cancellation and that you accept the cancellation terms. Confirm your acceptance by replying to the email.
Verify your cancellation effective date
JazzHR requires 30 days' written notice. Your cancellation will take effect at the end of the billing period that falls at least 30 days after your request. Confirm the exact end date in writing with the representative to avoid unexpected charges.
