Can I cancel Lexion at any time, mid-subscription?

Under the current Subscription Agreement V2 (March 2024), you cannot cancel mid-term for convenience. Cancellation is only allowed if Lexion commits a material breach and fails to cure it within 30 days of written notice. Your notice of non-renewal must be submitted at least 30 days before your annual renewal date to stop the subscription from auto-renewing.

Will I receive a refund if I cancel?

No. Lexion's fees are non-refundable and non-cancelable under standard terms. The only exception is if Lexion itself commits a material breach of the agreement and fails to cure it — in that case, you may be entitled to a prorated refund of prepaid annual fees. There are no partial refunds for early termination.

What happens to my contracts and data after cancellation?

You have a 30-day window after your subscription expires or terminates to request an export of your data. The standard export format includes your original document files and a CSV of contract metadata. After 30 days, Lexion has no obligation to retain your data and may permanently delete it. You must explicitly request the export — it is not sent automatically.

Does Lexion auto-renew, and how do I stop it?

Yes, Lexion subscriptions auto-renew annually. To prevent auto-renewal, you must send written notice of non-renewal to legal@lexion.ai at least 30 days before your renewal start date. If you miss this window, the subscription will renew for another full year and the fees for that term become immediately due.

How do I reactivate my Lexion account after cancellation?

To reactivate, contact Lexion's sales team via the demo request form at lexion.ai/request-demo or email support@lexion.ai. Reactivation requires negotiating a new subscription agreement since Lexion does not offer self-serve account management.

Can I request deletion of my data after cancellation?

Yes. Within the 30-day post-termination window, you can request both an export and deletion of your data. Submit your data deletion request in writing to legal@lexion.ai. Lexion's Data Processing Agreement (available at lexion.ai/dpa) governs how personal data is handled after termination.

Draft a formal written cancellation notice stating your intent to not renew or to terminate your subscription. Include your company name, account details, and the effective date of cancellation. Reference your subscription agreement number if available.

Request data export within 30 days

Before your subscription ends, formally request an export of all your contracts and data. Email legal@lexion.ai or support@lexion.ai to request your data in the standard format (original document files + CSV metadata). You have a 30-day window after termination to request this — after that, Lexion may permanently delete your data.

Await cancellation confirmation

Wait for written confirmation from Lexion's legal or account team acknowledging your cancellation notice. If you do not receive confirmation within 5 business days, follow up by phone at (661) 384-7070 or email to ensure your notice was received and recorded.
