Sign in to My Telstra
Open the My Telstra app on your phone or go to telstra.com.au and sign in with your Telstra ID (email and password).
Go to Services
Tap or click 'Services' in the bottom navigation bar (app) or top menu (browser).
Select your mobile service
Find and tap the specific mobile service (phone number) you want to cancel.
Tap 'View or manage your plan'
On the service detail screen, tap the 'View or manage your plan' button.
Select 'Cancel your service'
Scroll down and tap 'Cancel your service'. You will be asked to select a cancellation reason from a dropdown menu.
Review any retention offer
Telstra may present a retention offer (e.g. '$10–$20/month off for 6 months' or bonus Telstra Plus points). You can accept or decline and continue cancelling.
Confirm cancellation
Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm. If the app redirects you to contact support, call 13 22 00 and say 'Disconnect' at the voice prompt, or use the Live Chat option on the Contact Us page. Note your cancellation reference number.
