Does Airalo have a recurring subscription I need to cancel?

Can I get a refund for an Airalo eSIM plan?

Yes, under limited conditions. Refunds must be requested within 30 days of purchase. You are eligible if the eSIM has not been activated/installed, or if it failed to work due to an Airalo error. Once an eSIM is installed on your device, it is generally non-refundable. Refunds can be issued as Airmoney (instant) or back to your original payment method (7–10 business days, up to 30 days depending on your bank).

What happens to my data and eSIM after I delete my account?

Deleting your account permanently erases your Airalo profile and associated data. Any installed eSIMs on your device remain functional until their data or validity period expires, but you will no longer be able to manage them through the Airalo app. You have 7 days after requesting deletion to reverse it by logging back in.

Can I reactivate my Airalo account after deleting it?

If you cancel the deletion request within 7 days, your account is fully restored. After the 7-day window, deletion is permanent and you would need to create a new account from scratch.

How do I stop Airalo marketing emails?

Scroll to the bottom of any Airalo marketing email and click 'Unsubscribe'. Alternatively, go to your account settings in the app under Notifications and toggle off promotional emails.

Understand Airalo's model

Airalo is a prepaid pay-as-you-go eSIM service — there is no automatic recurring subscription. Each eSIM data plan is a one-time purchase. 'Cancelling' means stopping future purchases, requesting a refund for an unused plan, or deleting your account.

Log in to your Airalo account

Open the Airalo app or go to airalo.com and log in with your email and password.

Check your active eSIM plans

Tap 'My eSIMs' from the bottom navigation bar to see all purchased plans and their status (active, expired, unused).

Request a refund for an unused plan (if applicable)

Select the relevant eSIM plan. If eligible, a 'Refund' button will appear. Tap it to request a refund. Alternatively, email support@airalo.com or use the in-app chat. Refunds are only available within 30 days of purchase and only for plans that have not been activated or have unused data due to a technical issue.

Cancel any App Store or Google Play billing

If you see a recurring charge from Airalo via Apple: go to iPhone Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → select 'Airalo: eSIM Travel & Internet' → tap 'Cancel Subscription'. On Android: open Google Play → tap profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → select Airalo → tap 'Cancel subscription'.

Delete your Airalo account (optional)

In the Airalo app, tap your Profile icon → tap 'Account Information' → tap 'Delete Account' and confirm. You have a 7-day window to cancel the deletion request by logging back in. This permanently removes your account and associated data.
