Log in as Account Administrator

Sign in to your Freshdesk account. Only the Account Administrator can cancel — regular agents do not have this option.

Open Admin settings

Click the gear icon (Admin) in the left navigation sidebar to open the Admin panel.

Navigate to Account Details

Go to Account > Account Details in the Admin panel.

Click 'Cancel account'

Scroll to the 'Account Status' section and click the 'Cancel account' button. If this button is not visible, you may not be logged in as the Account Administrator.

Select a cancellation reason

Choose a reason for cancelling from the required feedback form. This step must be completed before you can proceed.

Click 'Request cancellation'

Click the 'Request cancellation' button to submit your cancellation request.

Confirm in the pop-up

Confirm your decision in the pop-up window that appears. A Freshdesk support agent may contact you afterward to process the cancellation.
