Review your contract end date
Log in to your Hivebrite admin dashboard and check your subscription term end date. You must submit written notice of non-renewal at least 90 days before the end of your annual term — missing this window locks you into another full year automatically.
Prepare written cancellation notice
Draft a formal written cancellation or non-renewal notice that includes your organization name, account details, and a clear statement of intent to cancel or not renew. Keep a timestamped copy for your records.
Contact your account manager
Email your assigned Hivebrite account manager directly with the cancellation notice. If you do not have a dedicated contact, email contact@hivebrite.com with 'Cancellation Notice' in the subject line. Alternatively, use the live chat on hivebrite.com to initiate contact.
Request written confirmation
Follow up to obtain written confirmation that your cancellation or non-renewal notice has been received and recorded. Do not consider the cancellation complete until you have this confirmation in writing.
Export your data within 30 days
After the cancellation effective date, submit a written request to Hivebrite to export all your community data in CSV or XLS format. You have a 30-day window from the termination date — after that, Hivebrite has no obligation to retain your data and will delete it.
