Yes. Brilliant offers a limited free tier that gives you access to one daily challenge and the first few lessons in any course. Cancelling Premium downgrades you to this free tier automatically.

Will I lose my progress if I cancel?

Your account, course progress, and streak data are saved even after cancelling. When you resubscribe, you can pick up exactly where you left off.

Does Brilliant offer student discounts?

Yes. Brilliant offers a 20% student discount. If you're a student and weren't using the discount, contact support — you may be able to retroactively apply it or get a discounted renewal.

Go to brilliant.org and sign in to your account.

Open Account Settings

Click your profile picture in the upper-right corner and select "Settings" from the dropdown menu.

Navigate to Subscription

In Settings, click on the "Premium" or "Subscription" tab to view your current plan details and renewal date.

Cancel subscription

Click "Cancel Subscription" and follow the prompts. Brilliant will show you a summary of what you will lose access to upon cancellation.

Confirm cancellation

Confirm your cancellation by clicking the final "Cancel Subscription" button. A confirmation email will be sent to your registered address.
