No. Your paid plan remains active until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account automatically downgrades to the Free plan, and your existing forms and collected responses remain accessible — you are not locked out of your data.

Can I get a refund if I cancel before my billing period ends?

Typeform does not issue refunds for plans cancelled before the contracted period ends, whether monthly or annual. You retain access to paid features through the end of the period you already paid for.

What are the limits on the Free plan after downgrading?

The Free plan allows up to 10 responses per month across all your forms, and limits the number of active forms and questions per form. Paid features such as custom branding, logic jumps beyond basic use, and integrations are disabled.

Can I reactivate my paid plan after cancelling?

Yes. You can upgrade back to any paid plan at any time from the Plan & Billing section. Your previous forms and data will still be there.

What happens to my data if I just cancel (not delete) my account?

Cancelling your subscription only downgrades your plan — it does not delete your account or data. All forms, responses, and settings are preserved on the Free tier. To permanently delete everything, you must separately go to Your Settings and use the 'Delete Account' option, which is irreversible.

Log in to Typeform

Go to typeform.com and log in to your account with your email and password.

Open Plan & Billing

Click your organization icon or name in the top-left corner of the Workspace dashboard. From the dropdown menu, select 'Plan & Billing' under the Organization section.

Click 'Cancel my plan'

On the Plan & Billing page, locate your current plan details and click the 'Cancel my plan' button.

Select the Free plan

You will be shown a plan selection screen. Click on the 'Free' plan option, then click 'Get Free' to initiate the downgrade.

Review feature loss and continue

A screen displays which paid features you will lose upon downgrading. Review the changes, then click 'Continue to survey' to proceed.

Complete the cancellation survey

Typeform requires you to fill out a short exit survey explaining why you are cancelling. Answer the questions and click 'Submit'. You must complete and submit this survey — skipping it leaves your account active.

Confirm cancellation

After submitting the survey, check the confirmation checkbox acknowledging the downgrade consequences, then click 'Cancel my plan' to finalize. You will receive a confirmation email.
