Will I still have service after I cancel?

Yes. Your service continues until the end of your current billing cycle. You will not be charged again after cancellation.

Can I get a refund after cancelling?

The monthly plan fee is non-refundable. Tello offers a 100% money-back guarantee only for unused products or services requested within a few days of purchase. Refund requests after a number port-out will not be processed. Payments older than 5 months are ineligible for refunds.

What happens to my phone number when I cancel?

If you do not port your number out before your plan expires, your number may be permanently lost. Tello will notify you 7 days before your number expires. To keep your number, initiate a port-out to a new carrier before cancelling or before the plan ends.

Can I reactivate my Tello service after cancelling?

Yes. You can log back into your Tello account and purchase a new plan to reactivate service, as long as your number has not been reclaimed. If your number expired, you would need to get a new number.

What happens to my remaining balance and Tello Dollars?

Any remaining balances — including Plan credits, Pay-As-You-Go balance, and Tello Dollars — are forfeited and cannot be refunded once you cancel or start the port-out process.

Can Tello customer support cancel my plan for me?

No. For security reasons, Tello requires you to cancel your own service through your online account or the My Tello app. Customer support cannot cancel on your behalf.

Log in to your Tello account

Go to tello.com and sign in to your account using your email and password.

Go to your Dashboard

After logging in, you will land on your Dashboard. Look for the 'My Plan' box on the right side of the screen.

Click 'Cancel Plan'

At the bottom of the 'My Plan' box, click the 'Cancel Plan' button. This will also cancel Auto Pay and the automatic renewal of your plan.

Follow the on-screen prompts

A cancellation flow will appear. Read through any warnings (e.g. about forfeiting remaining balance or losing your number) and confirm your intent to cancel.

Disable Auto-Recharge if on Pay-As-You-Go

If you use a PAYG plan, also go to 'My Settings' and turn off 'Auto-Recharge' to prevent further charges.

Confirm cancellation

Complete the confirmation step when prompted. You will receive a confirmation that your plan will not renew. Service continues until the end of your current billing cycle.
