Review your contract terms

Locate your signed Order Form and review the renewal date. Jobvite contracts auto-renew for 12-month periods, and written cancellation notice must be submitted at least 60 days before the end of your current term. Missing this window results in automatic renewal for another full year.

Contact your Customer Success Manager

Reach out directly to your assigned Customer Success Manager (CSM) or Account Manager — these are the only authorized contacts for contract termination. Check your onboarding email or original contract for their contact details.

Submit written cancellation notice

Send a formal written notice of non-renewal via email to your CSM/Account Manager. State clearly that you are exercising your right not to renew, and include your company name, account ID, and the contract end date. Keep a timestamped copy for your records.

Request data export

In the same communication or a follow-up, explicitly request a full data export (candidate records, job postings, reports) before the termination date. Post-termination data access is not guaranteed by default in the public terms, so negotiate this window upfront.

Confirm cancellation in writing

Follow up with your CSM to obtain written confirmation that the cancellation notice has been received and that your account will not renew. Save this confirmation. If you cannot reach your CSM, contact general support at +1-844-562-8483 or via https://www.jobvite.com/support/.

Verify account closure on contract end date

On or after the contract end date, confirm that access has been terminated and that no renewal invoice has been issued. If billed after a confirmed cancellation, escalate in writing to your CSM and to legal@employinc.com.
