Will I lose access immediately after cancelling?

No. Your paid features remain active until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account automatically downgrades to the Free Forever plan, which allows up to 5 users and 5 active projects (additional projects become archived and read-only).

Can I get a refund for the unused portion of my subscription?

Teamwork.com generally does not offer refunds for unused time on cancelled subscriptions. Charges already made are non-refundable. For disputes, contact their billing team at sales@teamwork.com.

What happens to my data after I cancel?

If you cancel (downgrade to Free plan), your data is retained. If you fully delete your account, Teamwork.com retains customer content for a minimum of 60 days after termination before permanent deletion. You should export your data (available in XLS, DOC, or CSV formats) before deleting your account.

How do I permanently delete my account instead of just downgrading?

On the Subscription page, scroll to the 'Delete Account' section and click 'Delete account'. You will then need to click 'I still want to delete' twice as a confirmation step, then click 'Cancel Plan'. This is irreversible and permanently removes your site and all its data.

Can I reactivate my subscription after cancelling?

Yes. If your account was downgraded to the Free Forever plan (not deleted), you can reactivate a paid plan at any time by going back to the Subscription page and selecting an upgraded plan. Deleted accounts cannot be recovered.

Do I need to cancel each Teamwork product separately?

Yes. If you subscribe to multiple Teamwork products (Teamwork.com, Teamwork Desk, Teamwork Chat, Teamwork Spaces), each has its own separate subscription and must be cancelled individually within that product's settings.

Open your Subscription settings

Log in to your Teamwork.com account. Click your profile image/avatar in the top-right corner of the main navigation menu, then select 'Subscription' from the dropdown.

Locate the Cancel Subscription section

On the Subscription page, scroll down to find the 'Cancel Subscription' section near the bottom of the page.

Click 'Cancel my subscription'

Click the 'Cancel my subscription' button. This begins the cancellation flow.

Complete the offboarding survey

Fill out the offboarding survey explaining why you are cancelling (reason options typically include cost, missing features, switching tools, etc.). This step is required before you can proceed.

Confirm with 'Cancel Plan'

After completing the survey, click 'Cancel Plan' to finalize the cancellation. Your paid subscription is now cancelled and your account will automatically downgrade to the Free Forever plan at the end of your current billing cycle.

(PayPal users only) Cancel in PayPal

If you pay via PayPal, you must also log in to your PayPal account and cancel the billing agreement there separately. Cancelling inside Teamwork.com does NOT stop PayPal from charging you.
