Check your contract end date and outstanding charges

Before cancelling, check if you're still within your contract term to understand any early termination fees. Text INFO followed by your date of birth in DDMMYY format to 85075 (e.g. 'INFO 060385') to see outstanding charges. Alternatively, log into My3 at my3.three.co.uk or call 333 from your Three phone.

Log in to My3

Go to my3.three.co.uk and sign in with your Three account credentials, or open the Three app on your phone and tap 'Account'.

Navigate to 'Leave Three'

On the website: select 'Manage your plan', then click 'Leave Three'. On the app: tap 'Account', then 'Help', then 'Leave Three'.

Choose your cancellation type

Select whether you want to keep your number (PAC code) or cancel without keeping your number (STAC code). If you just want to close your account with no number transfer, select the STAC option. Alternatively, text STAC followed by your date of birth in DDMMYY format to 75075 (e.g. 'STAC060385') for the quickest method.

Receive your STAC or PAC code

Your STAC (Service Termination Authorisation Code) or PAC (Port Authorisation Code) is displayed immediately on-screen in My3 along with its expiry date. If requested by text, it is sent back to you via SMS. The code is valid for 30 days.

Serve 30 days' notice or give code to new provider

If you're switching to another network: give your PAC or STAC code to your new provider — they will handle the switch and your Three service will end automatically. If you're cancelling outright with no new provider, call Three on 0333 338 1082 to give 30 days' notice and confirm account closure.

Pay any outstanding charges

Your final bill will arrive within 38 days of account closure. If you have a device plan balance outstanding, this can be settled via bank transfer at any time before or after closing. My3 access remains active for 18 months after closure so you can view and pay bills.
