Sign in to Proton Account
Go to account.proton.me and sign in with your Proton credentials.
Go to Subscription settings
Navigate to 'Subscription' in the left sidebar.
Click Change plan
Click 'Change plan' or 'Downgrade' to view other options.
Select Free plan or lower tier
Choose the Free plan or a lower-tier plan like Proton Mail Plus.
Review feature changes
Review the features you'll lose including 500 GB storage, Proton VPN, and Proton Pass.
Confirm the change
Click 'Confirm' to complete the downgrade. Changes take effect at the next billing date.
