Will I receive a refund after cancelling?

Elastic Path does not issue prorated refunds for partial billing periods. The only exception is if you are charged after the date your formal cancellation request was submitted — in that case, the charge will be refunded.

What happens to my data after I cancel?

Can I reactivate my account after cancelling?

Yes. For Studio, you can resubscribe through the Shopify App Store. For enterprise accounts, contact Elastic Path sales to discuss reactivation options.

Only the site owner may submit a cancellation or downgrade request for Elastic Path Studio. Requests submitted by non-owners are considered unauthorized and will not be processed.

What if I forget to remove the Elastic Path Studio app from Shopify?

Shopify charges for the app every 30 days. If you submit the cancellation form but do not remove the app from Shopify before your next billing date, you may still be charged for the next period. Remove the app via Shopify Admin > Apps before your billing cycle renews to avoid additional charges.

Identify your Elastic Path product

Determine which product you use: Elastic Path Studio (Shopify landing page builder) uses a form-based cancellation, while Elastic Path Composable Commerce (enterprise) requires contacting your Customer Success Manager.

Navigate to the cancellation page (Studio users)

Go to https://developer.elasticpath.com/docs/studio/policies/Downgrading-or-Cancelling-your-Unstack-Account and select the 'Cancel' option on the cancellation/downgrade page to surface the cancellation form.

Submit the cancellation form

Fill out and submit the cancellation form. Only the site owner may submit this request — submissions from non-owners will not be processed. You will receive an email confirmation that the Support Team received it.

Wait for support team confirmation

Allow up to one business day for the Elastic Path Support Team to process your cancellation request and send a confirmation reply.

Remove the app from Shopify (Studio/Shopify users)

In your Shopify Admin, go to Apps, find Elastic Path Studio, and click the delete icon next to it to uninstall. Do this before your next billing cycle date to prevent being automatically charged for the next period.

Contact your CSM (Enterprise users)

For Elastic Path Composable Commerce enterprise accounts, contact your assigned Customer Success Manager directly or log in to the support portal at support.elasticpath.com and submit a support ticket requesting cancellation/non-renewal per your contract terms.
