Will I lose access to my data immediately after cancellation?

Can I get a refund if I cancel early?

Review your contract terms

Log in to your Monte Carlo account at getmontecarlo.com and review your Order Form or contract to confirm your subscription end date, notice period requirements, and any non-cancellation clauses. Monte Carlo contracts are annual and fees are non-cancellable mid-term.

Contact your Customer Success Manager

Reach out directly to your assigned Customer Success Manager or Account Executive via email. If you do not know who your CSM is, email support@montecarlodata.com with subject 'Subscription Cancellation Request' and include your company name and account details.

Submit formal cancellation or non-renewal notice

Send a written non-renewal notice stating you do not wish to renew your contract at the end of the current term. Include your company name, account ID (found in Settings inside the Monte Carlo app), current contract end date, and reason for cancellation.

Await confirmation from Monte Carlo

Monte Carlo's account team will respond to confirm receipt of your cancellation or non-renewal request. They may schedule a call to discuss your decision or offer retention options. Request a written confirmation email acknowledging the cancellation.

Request data export before access ends

Before your contract end date, export any monitors, incident history, or configuration data you need. Go to Settings in the Monte Carlo dashboard and use any available export options, or ask your CSM to assist with a data export.

Confirm access termination date

Confirm with your CSM or via support@montecarlodata.com the exact date your account access will be revoked. Ensure all team members are notified and integrations (Slack, PagerDuty, data warehouses) are disconnected before that date.
