Can I still use Brevo after canceling?

Yes. Canceling the subscription downgrades your account to the Free plan at the end of your current billing period. You keep access to paid features until that date, then continue on the Free plan (300 emails/day, 2,000-contact automations). All contacts, templates, and campaign history are preserved.

Will I get a refund for the unused portion of my subscription?

Generally no — Brevo's Terms of Service explicitly state that prepaid or unused fees are non-refundable. The exception is EU users, who have a statutory 14-day cooling-off period from the date of purchase to request a full refund.

How do I reactivate my subscription after canceling?

If you only downgraded to Free (did not delete your account), log back in, go to My Plan, and resubscribe at any time. All your data will still be there.

What happens to my contacts and email templates?

They are fully preserved when you cancel (downgrade to Free). Contacts, templates, forms, automations, and sending history all remain. Only permanently deleting your account removes all data — that action is irreversible.

How do I export my data before canceling?

Go to Contacts, click 'Export contacts' in the top-right, choose CSV format, and download. Export email templates manually via Campaigns → Templates before closing the account.

What if I want to fully delete my account?

Account deletion is separate from canceling a subscription. Go to Settings → Account, scroll to the bottom, click 'Delete my account', and confirm with your password. This is permanent and irreversible — all data is immediately deleted. Note that inactive Free accounts with no login for 4+ months are also auto-deleted.

Log in to Brevo

Go to app.brevo.com and log in to your account (Sendinblue has rebranded to Brevo — sendinblue.com redirects there).

Open account menu

Click your account name in the top-right corner to open the dropdown menu.

Go to My Plan

Select "My Plan" from the dropdown menu.

Click Cancel subscriptions

Scroll to the bottom of the My Plan page and click "Cancel subscriptions".

Decline the pause offer

Brevo shows a retention interstitial offering to pause your subscription for 1–3 months instead. Click "No, cancel my subscription" to proceed with cancellation.

Select a cancellation reason

Choose a reason from the dropdown. Depending on your selection, Brevo may prompt for additional free-text detail before continuing.

Confirm cancellation

Click "Yes, I want to cancel my subscription" to confirm. Your account is downgraded to the Free plan at the end of your current billing period — paid features remain active until then.
