Turkcell does not automatically issue pro-rata refunds for prepaid packages. For postpaid lines, your final bill will reflect charges up to the cancellation effective date. Contact customer service at 532 to query any credit balance refund.

How do I check my early termination fee (cayma bedeli) before cancelling?

Open the Dijital Operatör app and navigate to 'Taahhüt Sorgula' (Query Commitment) under your line settings, or visit turkcell.com.tr and log in to your account. You can also call 532 and ask a representative to calculate it for you.

Can I get my cancelled number back?

Yes, within a limited window. Visit the Turkcell support page at turkcell.com.tr/yardim/hattiniz/abonelik-islemleri/iptal-ettirdigim-hattimi-nasil-geri-alabilirim or visit a Turkcell store. Numbers are typically held for a grace period before being reallocated.

Can I cancel via email instead of the app or store?

Yes. Send an email to hatiptal@turkcell.com.tr from your Turkcell-registered email address, attaching a copy of your national ID (T.C. Kimlik Kartı) and clearly stating the phone number you want to cancel. You can also fax to 0216 633 07 27.

What happens to my linked services (TV+, internet, etc.) when I cancel my mobile line?

Linked services such as Turkcell TV+ or Superonline internet are separate subscriptions and must be cancelled independently. Cancelling your mobile line does not automatically terminate them. Contact Turkcell at 532 or email abonelikfesih@turkcell.com.tr for Superonline cancellations.

Open Dijital Operatör App

Download and open the 'Dijital Operatör' (Digital Operator) app on your phone, or log in to your account at turkcell.com.tr. Sign in with your Turkcell credentials (phone number + password).

Go to Yardım (Help)

In the app, tap the 'Yardım' (Help) tab in the bottom navigation bar. On the website, click 'Hesabım' (My Account) in the top-right corner.

Select Belge Talepleri

Tap 'Belge Talepleri' (Document Requests) from the Help menu options. This section handles formal account change and cancellation requests.

Choose Hat İptali

Select 'Hat İptali' (Line Cancellation) from the list of document request types. Choose the specific line/number you want to cancel if you have multiple lines.

Review Cayma Bedeli (Early Termination Fee)

If your line has an active commitment period (taahhüt), the app will display your 'Cayma Bedeli' (early termination fee). This is calculated as: (full price − discounted price) × remaining months in contract, plus any outstanding device installment balance. Review this amount carefully before proceeding.

Enter Cancellation Reason and Submit

Select your cancellation reason from the dropdown ('İptal Nedeni'), then tap 'Fesih Başvurusu Yap' (Submit Termination Request). Note the confirmation/reference number displayed on screen.

Alternative: Cancel via e-Devlet

If you prefer the government portal: go to turkiye.gov.tr, search for 'Turkcell Abonelik Fesih Başvurusu', click 'Kimliğimi Şimdi Doğrula' (Verify My Identity Now), authenticate via internet banking or mobile signature, select your line, click 'Fesih Başvurusu Yap', then download, sign, and upload the termination document. Billing stops within 24 hours.

Confirm at Turkcell Store if Required

For full postpaid (faturalı) line closures, Turkcell may require in-person identity verification at an authorized Turkcell retailer ('Turkcell İletişim Merkezi') within 7 days of your app submission, bringing your national ID (T.C. Kimlik Kartı). The cancellation is processed within 7 business days of the completed application.
