Will I get a refund if I cancel mid-cycle?

Neptune's standard policy was that monthly fees are non-refundable, with no exceptions. Refunds were only issued for unused paid time following Neptune's permanent shutdown in March 2026.

What happens to my data after cancellation?

After canceling or deleting your account, Neptune deleted all project data within 90 days. This deletion was permanent and non-recoverable. You could request immediate early deletion by emailing support@neptune.ai.

Can I export my data before canceling?

Yes. Neptune provided a Neptune Exporter tool and migration guides for moving data to alternatives such as MLflow, Weights & Biases, Comet, and others. It was strongly recommended to export all data before canceling.

Can I reactivate my account after canceling?

There was no documented self-serve reactivation. If you had only downgraded to the Free plan, you could re-subscribe via the Billing & payments menu. Full account deletions were not reversible.

Who is allowed to cancel the plan?

Only Workspace Admins have access to billing settings and can cancel or change plans. Regular workspace members cannot manage billing.

Is Neptune.ai still available?

No. Neptune.ai permanently shut down on March 6, 2026 after being acquired by OpenAI. All login and API access were disabled, and all hosted data was irreversibly deleted. The domain now redirects to an OpenAI announcement page.

Log in as Workspace Admin

Go to app.neptune.ai and log in. Note: only Workspace Admins can manage billing — regular members have no access to billing settings.

Open workspace dropdown

Click your workspace name in the top-left corner of the Neptune dashboard to expand the dropdown menu.

Go to Billing & payments

Select 'Billing & payments' from the dropdown menu. This opens the billing management page where you can view your current plan, usage stats, invoices, and storage.

Downgrade to Free plan

There is no dedicated 'Cancel subscription' button. To cancel, select the Free plan option to downgrade. This effectively cancels your paid subscription. Confirm the plan change when prompted.

Confirm cancellation

Confirm the downgrade/cancellation in the dialog. Your plan will revert to Free (100 compute hours/month, 5 GB storage) at the end of the current billing period.
