Identify your subscription type

Determine what you want to cancel: (A) Data bundle auto-renewal (Android, Mega, BB, or Daily/Weekly bundles), (B) Value-added service (VAS) promotional subscriptions, or (C) Promotional SMS. Each type uses a different cancellation method.

Cancel data auto-renewal via USSD or SMS

For Android Bundles, dial *438*100# and press Call. For Mega Bundles, dial *408*100# and press Call. For BB Bundle, send an SMS with the text 'STOP AUTO RENEW' to 440. For Daily/Weekly Bundles, send an SMS with the text 'STOP' to 141. You will receive a confirmation SMS once unsubscribed.

Cancel VAS / third-party subscriptions via *100#

For value-added service subscriptions (news, horoscope, ringtones, etc.), dial *100# and press Call. When the main menu appears, select option 3 'Manage My Account'. Then select option 6 or 7 'Manage Subscriptions' (menu numbers may vary). Browse the listed active subscriptions, select the one you want to cancel, and confirm with option 1 'Stop Subscription'.

Stop promotional SMS via *100# menu

Dial *100# and press Call. Select option 3 'Manage My Account'. Then select option 8 'Stop Promotional SMS'. A confirmation prompt will appear — reply with 1 to confirm opt-out. You will receive an SMS confirming you have been unsubscribed from all Airtel promotional messages.

Verify cancellation

Dial *544*3# to check your active data balance and confirm no auto-renewal is pending. For VAS subscriptions, dial *100# again and re-enter Manage My Account → Manage Subscriptions to confirm the service no longer appears as active.

Contact customer care if issues persist

If you are still being charged or cannot cancel via USSD/SMS, call 100 (free from your Airtel line) or 0733 100 100 (from any network). Tell the agent: 'I want to cancel my subscription and stop auto-renewal on my line.' Request a reference number for your cancellation request.
