Go to Customer Center
Navigate to https://customercenter.wsj.com/subscriptions and sign in with your WSJ account credentials.
Open Manage Subscriptions
In the left sidebar, click 'My Account', then select 'Manage Subscriptions' (or 'Manage Subscription').
Locate the Cancel option
Scroll to the Cancel section. If you see a 'Cancel Subscription' link, click it. If instead you see a phone number (1-800-JOURNAL / 1-800-568-7625), WSJ is blocking online cancellation for your account — proceed to step 4. California-billed accounts always see the online Cancel button.
Call to cancel (if online option not shown)
Call 1-800-JOURNAL (1-800-568-7625), Mon–Fri 7 AM–10 PM ET or Sat 7 AM–3 PM ET. State clearly: 'I want to cancel my subscription.' Have your name, address, and email ready. Agents will make retention offers — decline each and repeat your cancellation request.
Decline retention offers
WSJ agents typically offer steep discounts (e.g. $4/month for a year). You will face multiple 'Are you sure?' screens or verbal offers. Decline all and confirm you want to proceed with cancellation.
Confirm cancellation and save proof
After confirming, request a cancellation confirmation email. Save it — some users report continued billing ('zombie charges') without written proof. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
