Can I access my files after cancelling?

Yes, your paid features remain active until the end of your current billing period. After that, the workspace downgrades to the free Starter plan. Only your 10 most recent uploads remain accessible on the Starter plan — older assets are greyed out but not deleted.

Will I get a refund if I cancel mid-subscription?

Generally no — LottieFiles does not offer prorated refunds for annual plans cancelled mid-term. EU residents may request a full refund within 7 days of purchase if no premium features have been used. For accidental renewals, contacting support@lottiefiles.com promptly has resulted in full refunds for many users.

How early do I need to cancel before my renewal date?

Annual subscriptions must be cancelled at least 30 days before the renewal date to avoid being charged for another full year. This requirement is in LottieFiles' Terms of Sale.

Can I reactivate my subscription after cancelling?

Yes. Go to Workspace Settings > Billing at any time to re-subscribe and immediately regain access to all premium features and previously greyed-out assets.

What happens if my subscription lapses without cancelling?

After expiry there is a 3-day grace period. If not renewed within 3 days, the workspace enters a Suspended state — you lose access to assets, shared animation links stop working, and collaboration is blocked until you upgrade.

Who can cancel the subscription?

Only the workspace owner can access Billing settings and cancel. Team members and collaborators do not have permission to initiate cancellation.

Log in to LottieFiles

Go to lottiefiles.com and sign in to your account.

Open Workspace menu

In the left sidebar, find your workspace name and click the three-dot menu (...) next to it.

Open Workspace Settings

Select "Workspace settings" from the dropdown menu that appears.

Go to Billing tab

Click the "Billing" tab inside Workspace Settings. This tab only appears for paid workspaces — it is not visible on free/Starter accounts.

Find Cancel Subscription section

Scroll down to the "Cancel Subscription" section at the bottom of the Billing page.

Click Cancel Subscription

Click the "Cancel subscription" button and follow the on-screen confirmation prompts to complete the cancellation.
