Will I lose access immediately after cancelling?

No. Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period. You retain full access until the renewal date when cancellation takes effect.

Can I get a refund after cancelling?

No. Mention's policy explicitly states there are no refunds or credits for partial use of service. You are billed for the full period in which you cancel.

Can I reactivate my plan after cancelling?

It depends on your plan. Legacy Solo, Pro, and Pro Plus plans cannot be reactivated once cancelled — these grandfathered tiers are permanently discontinued. Company plans can generally be reactivated by contacting support.

What happens to my data when I cancel?

Cancellation alone does not delete your data — it remains accessible. Data is only permanently deleted if you separately delete your account via account settings. Account deletion is irreversible.

Does deleting my account also cancel my subscription?

No. These are two separate actions. You must cancel your subscription first, then separately delete your account if desired. Deleting the account without cancelling first will result in continued charges.

Who can cancel a Team or Company plan?

Only the Team Owner can cancel a Team subscription. Team Members and Admins do not have access to the Cancel Subscription button. If you are not the owner, contact the account owner or reach out to support@mention.com.

Log in to Mention

Go to web.mention.com and sign in to your account.

Open Settings

Click on your account menu or the gear icon in the navigation to open Settings.

Go to Subscription tab

Inside Settings, click the 'Subscription' tab to view your current plan and billing details.

Click 'Cancel Subscription'

Scroll to find the 'Cancel Subscription' button and click it. Note: only the Team Owner can cancel a Team plan — team members and admins do not see this option.

Complete the cancellation form

Fill out the cancellation form providing your reason for cancelling, then submit it.

Confirm cancellation

Return to the Subscription tab and verify the confirmation message appears, confirming your cancellation is scheduled for the next renewal date. Take a screenshot as proof.
