Can I access my data after disabling the organization?

Yes. Shortcut preserves all your data in a suspended state when you disable your organization. Nothing is deleted — everything remains exactly as you left it.

Will I be charged again after cancelling?

No. Disabling the organization suspends all billing immediately. You will not receive any further invoices unless you choose to re-enable the organization.

Can I get a refund for the unused part of my billing period?

No. Shortcut does not offer prorated refunds for cancelled subscriptions. You retain access until the end of the paid period but will not be reimbursed for unused time.

Can I reactivate my account after disabling it?

Yes. Since your data is fully preserved, you can re-enable your organization at any time and resume exactly where you left off.

Can I downgrade to the Free plan instead of cancelling?

Yes, if your workspace has 10 or fewer users. Go to Settings → Workspace → Billing and switch to the Free Plan. The change takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle, not immediately.

What happens to my saved payment information after I cancel?

Your payment details remain on file after disabling the organization. You must contact Shortcut support separately if you want your payment information removed from their system.

Log in to Shortcut

Go to app.shortcut.com and sign in to your account with Owner-level access. Only an Owner can disable an organization — if you are not an Owner, coordinate with whoever holds that role first.

Open the workspace menu

Click your company logo in the upper-left corner of the app to open the workspace dropdown menu.

View all workspaces

Click 'View All Workspaces' from the dropdown menu that appears.

Open organization management

Click 'Manage Organization and Workspaces' on the workspaces overview page.

Click 'Disable Organization'

On the organization management page, click the red 'Disable Organization' button located in the corner of the page.

Confirm cancellation

Confirm the action in the popup prompt that appears. If you are on a legacy pricing plan, note the warning that cancelling permanently forfeits grandfathered pricing — this cannot be reversed.
