KeyCDN is strictly pay-as-you-go with no recurring subscription fees. Once you disable auto-recharge, no further charges will occur. Your remaining credit balance is used only when your CDN zones serve traffic.

Can I get a refund on unused credits?

KeyCDN credits are explicitly non-refundable per their Terms of Service. However, the terms note that exceptions 'might be granted' on a case-by-case basis — you can request a refund via the support ticket when submitting your closure request.

What happens to my data after I close my account?

KeyCDN's Terms state that customers are solely responsible for backing up all data and files. KeyCDN disclaims responsibility for maintaining files after termination. Billing-related data is retained for up to 10 years as required by law. Back up any important configuration or logs before requesting closure.

Can I reactivate my account after cancellation?

There is no documented self-service reactivation. If you have simply stopped adding credits without requesting deletion, your account remains accessible and you can top up at any time. If you requested full account deletion via support, you would need to register a new account.

Do credits expire if I just stop using the service?

KeyCDN credits do not expire. If your balance reaches zero and auto-recharge is off, KeyCDN will send three email reminders before making your account inactive. You can top up at any time to resume service.

Go to app.keycdn.com and sign in with your email and password.

Disable auto-recharge to stop future billing

Click your account name or the 'Account' menu in the top-right corner, then go to 'Billing' or 'Payment Settings'. Disable the 'Auto Recharge' toggle so no further charges are made to your payment method.

Delete all zones (optional but recommended)

Navigate to 'Zones' in the left sidebar. For each active zone, click the zone name and use the 'Delete Zone' option to remove all CDN delivery configurations. This stops any ongoing traffic and ensures no further credit consumption.

Submit a support ticket to close your account

Go to app.keycdn.com/users/support and open a new support request. In the subject write 'Account Closure Request' and in the body request full deletion of your account and associated data. KeyCDN does not provide a self-service account deletion button — full account closure is handled via the support ticket system.

Await confirmation from KeyCDN support

KeyCDN support will respond to your ticket confirming the account has been closed. Alternatively, use the contact form at keycdn.com/contact if you are no longer able to access your account login.
