Log in to Splunk Customer Portal
Go to https://splunk.my.site.com/customer/s/ and sign in with your Splunk account credentials.
Locate your Account Team contact
In the portal, find your assigned Splunk Account Executive or Customer Success Manager — their contact details appear in your original contract email or under the 'My Account' section of the portal.
Send written non-renewal notice
Email your Account Team rep (or splunk_billing@cisco.com for billing) with a written notice of intent to cancel or not renew. Include your account name, contract number, and desired termination date. This must be submitted at least 30 days before your term end date.
Call support if no account rep is assigned
Call Splunk/Cisco support at 1-855-775-8657 (US/Canada) and request cancellation or non-renewal processing. Reference your order number.
Open a support case (optional)
Alternatively, log a support case via the portal at https://splunk.my.site.com/customer/s/ — click 'Create a Case', select 'Billing/Licensing', and describe your cancellation request.
Confirm written acknowledgment
Wait for written confirmation from Splunk/Cisco that your cancellation or non-renewal has been recorded. Keep this for your records.
Export your data before term ends
Before the contract end date, export all data you need. Splunk provides a 30-day window post-termination to retrieve hosted data, after which all customer content is permanently deleted.
