Review your contract terms
Log in to Video Cloud Studio at https://signin.brightcove.com/ and navigate to Admin > Billing to check your current contract period, renewal date, and remaining commitment. Note your exact renewal date — your contract will specify a required notice window (typically 30–90 days) before auto-renewal.
Locate your Account Manager contact
Brightcove assigns a dedicated Customer Success Manager (CSM) to each account. Check your original onboarding or welcome emails for their name and direct contact. This is the primary channel for initiating cancellation.
Contact Brightcove to request cancellation
If you cannot reach your CSM, contact Brightcove via the support portal at https://supportportal.brightcove.com/ (login required), the contact form at https://www.brightcove.com/contact-sales, or by phone at +1 888 882 1880. Clearly state you want to cancel or not renew your subscription.
Submit written non-renewal notice
Send a formal written notice of non-renewal to your CSM or account manager via email. Reference your account name, contract number, and renewal date. Ensure you send this within the notice window specified in your Master Service Agreement (MSA) or Order Form.
Request written cancellation confirmation
Ask your CSM or support representative to send a written confirmation that your account will not renew. Keep this for your records. Also clarify the data retention/export timeline for your video content before your access ends.
