Log in to Appwrite Cloud Console
Go to https://cloud.appwrite.io and sign in to your Appwrite account.
Select your organization
In the top-left of the console, click your organization name to make sure you have the paid organization selected (not a free-tier org).
Open organization settings
Click the organization name or the gear icon to enter the organization settings page.
Navigate to the Billing tab
In the organization settings sidebar, click the 'Billing' tab to view your current plan and billing information.
Click 'Change plan'
On the Billing page, find the current plan section and click the 'Change plan' button. Note: this button may appear grayed out for some accounts — if so, proceed to step 6.
Select the Free plan
In the plan selection screen, choose the 'Free' plan and confirm the downgrade. This cancels your Pro subscription at the end of the current billing period. If you already have another Free organization, the Free plan option will be blocked and you must contact support instead.
Contact support if self-service is unavailable
If the 'Change plan' button is grayed out or disabled, email billing@appwrite.io or submit a support ticket through the Appwrite Console to request a manual downgrade. Include your organization name and account email.
