Review your contract terms
Before initiating cancellation, check your hireEZ contract for the required notice period before auto-renewal (typically 30 days). Annual contracts are non-refundable, so timing your cancellation before the renewal date is critical to avoid being charged for another term.
Log in and open in-app chat
Log in to app.hireez.com. Click the question mark (?) icon at the top of the home page, then select 'Chat with us' to connect with a support agent. State that you want to cancel your subscription.
Email support as a backup
Send a cancellation request to support@hireez.com from your account email address. Include your account name, registered email, and a clear statement that you wish to cancel. This creates a support ticket and provides a written record.
Speak with your Customer Success Manager
Enterprise and annual plan customers are typically assigned a dedicated Customer Success Manager (CSM). You may be routed to them to process the cancellation. Be prepared for a retention conversation — the CSM may offer discounts or plan changes to keep you.
Confirm cancellation in writing
Request written confirmation (email) that your subscription has been cancelled and note the exact date access will end. Keep this record in case of disputed charges at next renewal.
Export your data before access ends
Before your account is deactivated, export any candidate data, notes, or sourcing history you need to retain. hireEZ does not publicly document its data retention policy, so assume access ends at the close of your billing period.
