Identify what you are cancelling
Determine whether you use CapRover Pro (paid) or the free self-hosted version. The free open-source version has no subscription to cancel — simply uninstall it. If you subscribed to CapRover Pro, log in at https://pro.caprover.com to manage your subscription.
Log in to CapRover Pro (paid subscribers only)
Navigate to https://pro.caprover.com and sign in with your account credentials. If you do not have a Pro account, skip to Step 5 for uninstalling the free version.
Locate subscription/billing settings
Once logged in, look for your account or billing settings (typically under a profile icon or 'Account' menu). Find the subscription management section to cancel your recurring Pro plan.
Contact support if no self-serve cancel option exists
If no self-serve cancellation button is available, email pro.support@caprover.com with your account email and request cancellation. CapRover Pro does not publicly document a self-serve cancel flow.
Remove CapRover from your server (optional)
SSH into your server and run the following commands to uninstall CapRover: (1) Remove all Docker services: 'docker service rm $(docker service ls -q)', (2) Leave Docker Swarm: 'docker swarm leave --force', (3) Delete the CapRover config directory: 'rm -rf /captain'. Optionally run 'docker system prune --all --force' to reclaim disk space.
Cancel your VPS/server separately
CapRover runs on your own server (DigitalOcean, Hetzner, AWS, etc.). CapRover itself does not charge for server hosting — you must cancel your VPS subscription directly with your cloud provider to stop those charges.
