Sign in to your account
Go to expressvpn.com and click 'My Account' in the top navigation bar. Enter your email and password to log in.
Open Subscription settings
In the left-hand menu, click 'Subscription' (sometimes labeled 'My Subscription') to view your current plan details.
Access subscription edit options
In the 'Subscription details' box, locate your subscription ID and click 'Edit subscription settings' link inside that box.
Turn off automatic renewal
Click 'Turn Off Automatic Renewal' (some account UIs show a direct 'Cancel Subscription' button on the right side of the subscription details box instead).
Confirm cancellation
Follow the on-screen confirmation prompts. You will see a confirmation screen reading 'Your subscription has been canceled' when complete.
Request a refund (if eligible)
Cancelling auto-renewal does NOT trigger a refund automatically. To request one within 30 days of purchase: go to 'Account & Billing' → 'Payment history' → click 'Refund' next to the eligible payment → complete the optional survey → click 'Submit and Proceed with Refund' → select product → confirm.
